This Security Engineer role sits in the Professional Services team and focuses on cyber security, infrastructure protection and secure technology delivery for a range of customers. You will implement, support and improve security solutions while collaborating with Service Desk and client teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in cyber security, network security or infrastructure security.
• Experience with firewalls, VPN technologies, secure remote access, network security controls, security incident investigation and security hardening.
• Good understanding of network security fundamentals.
• Experience with security-focused project delivery.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
• Full clean EU driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs and secure remote access solutions.
• Deploy and support network security technologies.
• Implement network segmentation and access control solutions.
• Review client environments for security risks and configuration weaknesses.
• Recommend and implement security improvements.
• Support vulnerability remediation and security hardening activities.
• Investigate security-related incidents and technical issues.
• Assist with security assessments and security reviews.
• Provide escalation support for security-related incidents and issues.
• Assist with security investigations and threat response activities.
• Work with Service Desk engineers on cyber security escalations.
• Support the ongoing operation of managed security solutions.
• Work directly with customers to understand security requirements.
• Present recommendations and improvement plans.
• Promote security best practices and cyber resilience.
