INNOVATE is seeking a Network & Security Engineer to join its Professional Services team on a permanent basis. This client-facing role focuses on security and secure infrastructure, alongside core networking tasks.

You will implement and support security technologies, strengthen client environments and deliver security-focused projects across diverse customer environments. The successful candidate will work with Cisco and Meraki networking technologies, maintain secure connectivity, and travel

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in network security, cyber security or network engineering.
• Hands-on experience configuring firewalls, VPNs and secure network connectivity.
• Strong understanding of security controls and infrastructure protection.
• Experience with network access controls and segmentation.
• Strong networking fundamentals: routing, switching, LAN, WAN, wireless.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure and maintain security technologies including firewalls, VPNs and secure remote access.
• Support secure network architectures with appropriate security controls.
• Review environments to identify weaknesses and opportunities to improve protection.
• Configure network segmentation and secure connectivity for client infrastructure.
• Investigate security incidents and connectivity issues; escalate when appropriate.
• Collaborate with clients to understand security requirements and translate into technical solutions.
