Job summary

INNOVATE are currently seeking a Level 2 Cisco / Meraki Network Engineer Contractor to work as part of our IT Solutions Team. You will be a member of our team providing expert support for Cisco and Meraki solutions across a range of clients and environments.

This is an ad hoc contract opportunity, with work assigned based on project requirements and customer demand. The role will challenge the technical expertise of the successful engineer and offers flexibility across networking projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of routing, switching, wireless or firewalls in a similar environment.
• Cisco or Meraki experience.
• Experience with managing cloud networking technologies.
• Proficiency in provisioning and troubleshooting LAN/WAN connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second line technical support for Cisco and Meraki networking products including switches, firewalls, wireless access points, routers and security appliances.
• Network planning, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Provide support on issues escalated from our service team on customer networks.
• Maintain up-to-date network diagram, standards, documentation for all clients detailing configuration of deployed solutions.
• Install, document, implement and support client networks.
• Resolve operational issues involving routers, switches and firewalls in a multi vendor environment.
