Job summary

INNOVATE is seeking a Level 2 Network Engineer Contractor with Cisco and Meraki expertise to work with our Service Desk and Professional Services teams. This role combines project work with service-related tasks, acting as an implementation expert and technical advisor to INNOVATE and its clients.

The opportunity is ideally suited to an experienced contractor seeking flexible engagement across networking projects, implementations, troubleshooting and customer support activities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience with routing, switching, wireless or firewalls in a similar environment.
• CCNA or CCNP certification would be advantageous.
• Experience with managing cloud networking technologies.
• Proficiency with provisioning and troubleshooting LAN/WAN connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second line technical support for Cisco and Meraki networking products.
• Network planning, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Install, document, implement and support client networks.
• Resolve operational issues involving routers, switches and firewalls in a multi vendor environment.
