Job summary

Aramark in Cavan, Ireland is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to maintain high hygiene standards across our office and facilities. You will work from Monday to Friday, 3pm–5pm, performing cleaning tasks and reporting any issues with efficiency and professionalism.

You will operate cleaning equipment, follow COSHH and health and safety protocols, restock supplies, keep records, and support a positive team environment through reliable and safe practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with cleaning equipment and machinery.

• First Aid certification (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise offices, communal spaces and facilities to high standards.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely.
• Restock cleaning supplies and report shortages to management.
• Maintain cleaning schedules and report hazards immediately.
• Follow COSHH and health and safety protocols; respond to cleaning requests with urgency.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our facilities team in Cavan, Ireland. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our workplace environments to the highest level. The successful candidate will demonstrate efficiency, professionalism, and a strong commitment to health and safety compliance whilst working both independently and collaboratively with our team. Your contributions will directly impact the comfort and well-being of everyone in our organisation.

Monday - Friday 3pm-5pm

• Perform comprehensive cleaning and sanitisation of all workplace areas, including offices, communal spaces, and facilities, to consistently high standards - Operate and maintain a range of cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively - Restock cleaning supplies and report shortages to management promptly - Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues or hazards immediately
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including COSHH compliance, and wear personal protective equipment as required - Respond promptly to cleaning requests and address spillages or accidents with urgency and professionalism - Work flexibly to accommodate varying shift patterns and organisational requirements - Contribute to a positive workplace environment through professional conduct, teamwork, and excellent customer service
• Identify and communicate potential safety hazards to management in a timely manner - Undertake induction training and engage in ongoing professional development opportunities - Demonstrate environmental awareness by utilising sustainable cleaning practices where possible - Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding workplace information and activities

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using a range of cleaning equipment and machinery
• Sound knowledge of cleaning products, their applications, and safe handling procedures
