Job summary

Aramark Ireland is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our facilities team in Galway. You will maintain clean, hygienic and well-presented environments across offices and communal spaces, contributing to a safe and welcoming space for all occupants.

This role offers onboarding and training, with flexible weekend work when required, and opportunities to develop your cleaning skills within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across offices, communal spaces, restrooms, and facilities.
• Safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals in accordance with procedures and health and safety regulations.
• Perform tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitising surfaces, and restocking supplies.
• Report maintenance issues or health and safety concerns promptly to management.
• Complete cleaning records and documentation where required.
• Work independently and with the team to complete cleaning schedules on time.
• Prioritise tasks and manage workload to meet daily objectives.
• Demonstrate flexibility in working hours, including weekend work when required.
• Maintain professional standards when interacting with colleagues and occupants.
• Adhere to company policies and health and safety protocols at all times.
• Analyze cleaning requirements and customise approach as needed.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests with a customer-focused mindset.

• Perform a range of cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and restocking supplies such as soap and toilet rolls
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns promptly to management
• Complete all cleaning records and documentation accurately and thoroughly where required
• Work independently and collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient completion of cleaning schedules
• Prioritize tasks effectively and manage workload to meet daily objectives and deadlines
• Demonstrate flexibility in working hours, including weekend work when required
