Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cleaning Operative for our Celbridge facilities in Ireland. You will maintain hygiene standards, operate cleaning equipment, and support a safe, efficient workplace for staff and visitors.

The role requires reliability, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with a team to meet high cleanliness benchmarks. You will participate in onboarding and ongoing training, comply with COSHH and health & safety rules, and help foster a positive environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a cleaning or facilities maintenance role.

• Sound knowledge of cleaning products, their applications and safe handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all designated areas including offices, communal spaces, restrooms, and corridors to the highest standards.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of refuse appropriately, with proper segregation where required.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
• Restock cleaning supplies and report shortages to management promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules and report maintenance issues or hazards.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols and wear PPE as required.
• Respond to cleaning requests and address spillages or accidents promptly and professionally.
• Work flexibly to accommodate shift patterns and organizational needs.
• Contribute to a positive workplace through teamwork and customer service.
• Undertake onboarding training and engage in ongoing professional development.
