Job summary

Glanua in Ireland seeks a Civil Project Manager to lead on-site civil and building works, ensuring HSE compliance and sustainability standards while collaborating with clients and third-party agencies.

You will oversee the PSDP coordination, act as PSCS on live sites, drive lean construction practices, manage procurement and cash flow, and mentor junior staff to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar civil project management role.
• Level 8 Honours Degree in Civil Engineering is required; Safety certification desirable.
• Desirable: Managing Safely for Construction Managers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Civil Engineering and Building scope of works on-site.
• Ensure HSE & Sustainability standards are adhered to on-site.
• Collaborate with clients, client representatives and third-party agencies.
• Coordinate the PSDP role for live projects with internal and external designers.
• Represent the company as PSCS on live sites and manage on-site documentation.
• Monitor project performance against programme, budget and HSQE.
• Oversee procurement of supplies and sub-contracts within budget and timeframe.
• Support resource management and early tendering opportunities.
