Job summary

Glanua in Ireland seeks a Civil Project Manager to lead on-site civil and building works at the Limerick area project. You will coordinate cross-discipline teams, ensure safety standards, manage procurement, and maintain project documentation to support timely delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, client liaison, and a proactive approach to risk and opportunity management in a water/wastewater context. A company vehicle may be provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Safety, Health and Welfare regulations.
• Experience in civil works including earthworks and pipelaying is preferable.
• Ability to engage with customers, suppliers and subcontractors in negotiations.
• Knowledge of baseline programme preparation and updates.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HSE & Sustainability standards are adhered to on-site.
• Collaborate with clients, client representatives and third-party agencies.
• Lead civil and building scope of works with the construction team.
• Coordinate PSDP/PSCS on live projects and keep on-site documentation up to date.
• Conduct health and safety inspections and lead toolbox talks.
• Apply Lean Construction and Last Planner techniques on projects.
• Monitor risk, opportunities, and project performance against programme and budget.
• Oversee procurement of supplies and sub‑contracts and manage cashflow.
• Support recruitment and resource management within the team.
• Address client/stakeholder concerns and gather satisfaction feedback.
