Job summary

Glanua is seeking a Civil Project Manager to lead on-site civil and building works in Ireland. You will drive Lean Construction principles, coordinate with PSDP/PSCS and other disciplines, and ensure HSQE compliance on live sites to deliver programs on time and within budget.

The role requires a Level 8 Civil Engineering degree and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, with strong procurement, cashflow, and team leadership capabilities. CPD engagement is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar civil/ on-site role.
• Level 8 Honours Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Certificate in Managing Safely for Construction Managers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the construction team in civil and building works on-site.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical and process disciplines as needed.
• Fulfil PSDP coordination duties and act as PSCS on live sites.
• Conduct regular Health and Safety inspections and lead toolbox talks.
• Apply Lean Construction and Last Planner methods to manage scope and schedule.
• Monitor project performance against programme and budget, reporting to the framework manager.
• Oversee procurement, subcontracting, and cashflow to ensure timely interim payments.
• Support resource management and mentorship within the team, including tender input.
