Job summary

Glanua is seeking a Civil Project Manager to lead on-site civil and building works at our Cork-based projects. You will ensure safety standards, manage project teams, and coordinate with clients and subcontractors to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires a Level 8 Civil Engineering degree and at least five years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of MS Project and Lean construction practices. A full driving licence is essential to travel between worksites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a civil project role, preferably in water/wastewater projects.
• Demonstrated capability in stakeholder engagement and site-based coordination.
• Knowledge of HSE regulations and site safety best practices.
• Full driving licence and ability to manage on-site operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HSE & Sustainability standards are followed on-site.
• Lead the civil engineering and building scope of works with the team.
• Coordinate PSDP/PSCS processes and ensure up-to-date site documentation.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety inspections on live sites.
• Utilise Lean Construction and Last Planner methods for project delivery.
• Manage procurement of supplies and subcontractors within budget and schedule.
• Oversee cashflow and interim payments with Contracts/Commercial teams.
• Contribute to CPD and continuous professional development.
