Job summary

Glanua is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to work on-site in Waterford, Ireland. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and at least 2 years in a similar role, preferably in water and wastewater. You will work within a project team, coordinate with suppliers and sub-contractors, and ensure HSQE standards on site.

You will also develop design drawings, review reports, and contribute to CPD and mentoring of junior staff as part of Glanua's growing team.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the water and wastewater industry.
Degree in Civil Engineering.
Ability to work as part of a team in project delivery and engage with suppliers and sub-contractors at procurement stage.
Ability to use own initiative and problem solve during project delivery.
Proficiency with MS Office and surveying/CAD tools (GPS, total station, CAD).
Strong communication skills and driving licence.

Responsibilities

Deliver projects as part of a team, maintaining a one-team ethos.
Ensure HSQE standards are followed on-site.
Liaise with consultants, suppliers and subcontractors during procurement and delivery.
Develop design drawings and specifications; review technical reports and safety files.
Provide CPD and mentoring to junior staff.
