Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment is assisting a well established Dublin industrial site to hire an Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for civil, structural and utility assets on-site in Dublin. The role focuses on asset management strategy, leadership and driving performance across asset lifecycles.

Our client are a well established Dublin industrial site who are hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a team and manage civil, utilities and structural assets. This job will be well suited for a degree qualified engineer with asset management and leadership experience who wants to help drive the company's strategic development for the coming years. Please note that this position requires being on-site full time.

About the Position

• As Civil Asset Engineering Manager, your job will be to manage/develop relevant asset management strategies and plans for civil, structural and utility assets.
• Drive the control, monitoring and optimisation of operational and maintenance costs, risks and performance across full asset lifecycles.
• Support preparation for new assets by coordinating readiness, operational requirements, and standards to ensure requirements are met.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to support safe, efficient, and long-standing operations.
• Lead, manage and develop a multidisciplinary technical team.
• Drive a high-performance culture by shaping and delivering people focused strategies.
• Ensure assets are fit for purpose, safe, reliable and meet all relevant regulatory requirements.

Experience/Requirements

• For this Civil Asset Engineering Manager job, you will have at least 10 years’ relevant experience and strong people management experience.
• You will also have a relevant third level engineering qualification.
