Job summary

Oliver James Group is seeking a Chief Information Officer for its Dublin fintech arm. The role focuses on shaping data, AI, and platform strategy within a regulated environment, reporting to the CEO and executive team.

The successful candidate will drive value from technology investments, manage external partnerships, and lead a high‑performing technology organisation across in‑house and partner teams. The position emphasizes governance, security, and resilience in a fintech context.

Qualifications

• Senior technology leader with cross‑functional experience across data, AI, architecture and operations.
• Experience in financial services, fintech or regulated environments with supervisory outsourcing awareness.
• Proven ability to translate technology investments into measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own the technology strategy and roadmap aligned to commercial objectives and report to the CEO/Board as a member of the executive team.
• Build a data capability the business can trust and govern, and lead responsible AI adoption across products and operations.
• Lead sourcing strategy and manage a portfolio of strategic suppliers and outsourced partners, including negotiations and performance.
• Oversee core platforms, architecture and delivery, balancing pace of change with stability.
• Ensure risk, security and resilience control environment meets regulatory expectations including outsourcing and information security.
• Build and lead a high‑performing technology organisation spanning in‑house and partner teams.
