Job summary

Owl Payments Europe Limited is seeking a Chief Financial Officer who will lead the finance function and safeguarding framework, reporting to the CEO. The role covers financial/regulatory reporting, tax, audit, and governance within a Central Bank of Ireland-authorised entity.

The CFO will work with the Tripadvisor Finance team, ensure compliance, and align resources to meet regulatory obligations, capital needs, and strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent.
• Experience in regulated financial-services firm.
• Experience with PCF-11 Head of Finance and/or PCF-56 Head of Safeguarding roles.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and statutory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead OPEL’s finance function and oversight of financial and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain safeguarding framework, policy and procedures.
• Ensure regulatory returns are accurate and submitted on time.
• Oversee capital, liquidity, cash management and tax.
• Manage external audit and relationships with regulators, auditors and advisers.
• Collaborate with Tripadvisor Finance while maintaining independence for OPEL.
