Job summary
Johnson Controls Systems & Service Ltd - HVAC Ireland is hiring a Chiller Service Engineer to deliver commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of water/air cooled chillers and heat pumps. You will work with major clients in pharma, life science, and high-tech sectors across Ireland.
You will conduct site surveys, generate records and reports, and support quoting activities for new or replacement equipment.
Qualifications
- Refrigeration trade qualification or equivalent.
- F-GAS 2079 certificate is required.
- Experience with water/air cooled chillers and heat pumps.
- Ammonia experience is a plus.
- Full driving license in Ireland; driving required.
- NFQ level 5 or equivalent.
- Willingness to cross-train on York equipment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial water/air cooled chillers and heat pumps.
- Provide site surveys, records, and reports to aid quoting of new or replacement equipment.
- Be the primary technical contact for service issues and resolve complex problems within defined SLAs.
- Work mainly with large customers in pharmaceutical, life science, and high-tech sectors.
- Commit to Health and Safety policies and work both independently and as part of a team.
