Johnson Controls, Inc. in Ireland is seeking a Chiller Service Engineer to perform commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting and maintenance of industrial water/air cooled chillers and heat pumps.

You will be the primary technical contact for complex service issues and will work primarily with major customers in Pharma, Life Science and High Tech sectors. Health and safety is a priority, and you will often work solo while contributing to a team.

Qualifikationen

• Refrigeration trade qualification or electrician willing to cross-train on York chillers.
• F-GAS 2079 certification required.
• Ammonia experience is an advantage.
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates required.
• NFQ Level 5 qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in service, maintenance and repair of water-cooled and air-cooled chillers.
• Commissioning experience on large ton centrifugal and screw chillers is a plus; factory training provided.
• Experience with York, Sabroe, Trane, Carrier, or Daikin chillers.

Aufgaben

• Provide site surveys, records, and reports to aid quoting of equipment.
• Carry out commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial chillers and heat pumps.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for service issues, resolving complex problems within set timelines.
• Work principally with major clients in pharma, life sciences, and high-tech sectors.
• Uphold health and safety as a core principle while working often with limited supervision.
