Job summary

Johnson Controls Systems & Service Ltd - HVAC Ireland is seeking a New Product Development Program Manager in Dublin to lead stage-gate development of chillers and related business units. You will oversee cross-functional, regional teams and ensure programs meet budget, time-to-market, and quality targets.

The role requires a BS in Engineering with 3 years of PM or technical leadership experience, strong scheduling skills, and ability to travel up to 10% within Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering or related field with 3 years of experience in project management or leading technical teams/projects
• Experience creating and managing a schedule, assigning project tasks, facilitating meetings and formulating resource plans
• Experience overseeing onsite and online/remote project teams across functions
• Proficiency with project planning tools (e.g., Microsoft Project) and the Microsoft O365 suite
• Ability to travel (10% or less) within Europe or internationally
• Familiarity with stage-gate development

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional and regionally distributed teams through stage-gate development process
• Initiate, plan, and execute programs to deliver benefits for budget, quality, performance, and time to market
• Develop detailed execution and resource plans through scope discovery and decomposition
• Collaborate with core, extended and support teams, contractors, or consultants to ensure programs are delivered as planned
• Coach and motivate project team members to take ownership of assigned work
• Create and deliver progress reports, presentations and status updates via dashboards and reviews
• Identify and resolve significant risks and issues within the project team
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths
• Collaborate with other program managers and executive leadership to achieve program objectives
