Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. seeks an Air-Cooled Chiller Product Manager to own product direction and commercial performance for applied chillers in EMEA.

You will manage lifecycle, shape roadmaps, translate customer needs into requirements, and support development and launches across global markets. You will collaborate with the Dublin Engineering Centre of Excellence, regional leaders, Sales, channel partners and manufacturing to prioritise investments and optimise value for mission-critical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field.
• Five+ years of relevant professional experience including ~3 years in product/service/ownership roles.
• Experience with complex, engineered HVAC or data-centre-related products.
• Strong understanding of cost, performance and value optimization for product offerings.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering teams across multiple disciplines.
• Excellent communication of product performance, pricing, market trends and competitive insights.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end lifecycle and business performance of assigned air-cooled chiller product lines (EMEA).
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps and business plans based on customer insight and market trends.
• Lead product-management input to new product introductions with Dublin Engineering Centre of Excellence and cross-functional teams.
• Translate market and customer requirements into clear product priorities for multiple technical disciplines.
• Analyse product performance, cost, pricing and competitive position and present strategic recommendations.
• Support pricing strategies and product value propositions aligned with customer needs and business goals.
• Lead and participate in customer discussions to gather voice of customer and future needs.
• Provide visible product leadership as the EMEA chiller organisation develops its capability and processes.
