Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a New Product Development Program Manager in Dublin, Ireland to lead stage-gate NPD programs for the Chiller Product Business Unit. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and delivering projects with cross-functional teams at the Dublin engineering site.

You will drive execution, manage risks, and deliver on budget, quality, and time-to-market targets, traveling up to 10% within Europe as needed. A BS in Engineering and 3 years of PM experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field with 3 years of PM experience and/or leading technical teams.
• Experience creating schedules, assigning tasks, facilitating meetings, and formulating resource plans.
• Experience coordinating onsite and remote project teams across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional and regionally distributed teams through JCI’s stage-gate development process.
• Initiate, plan, and execute programs to deliver benefits according to budget, quality, performance, and time to market.
• Develop detailed execution and resource plans from scope discovery.
• Collaborate with core, extended and support teams to ensure programs are delivered as planned.
• Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members to take accountability.
• Create and deliver progress reports, dashboards, and status updates for reviews.
• Proactively identify and resolve significant risks and issues within the team.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
• Collaborate with program managers, functional managers, and executive leadership.
• Leverage best practices to improve project execution and management.
