Job summary

Johnson Controls in Dublin is seeking a New Product Development Program Manager to oversee chiller product programs through the stage-gate process at our engineering and manufacturing site.

You will lead cross-functional teams across regions, plan execution, manage risks, and deliver on budget, quality and time-to-market while mentoring team members and reporting progress to senior management. Travel up to 10% within Europe may be required.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field with 3+ years in project management or leading technical teams
• Experience creating and managing schedules and resource plans
• Experience overseeing onsite and remote project teams across functions
• Familiarity with stage-gate development processes

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional and regionally distributed teams through the stage-gate development process.
• Plan and execute programs to deliver benefits within budget, quality, performance, and time to market.
• Develop execution and resource plans from scope discovery.
• Coordinate core, extended, and outside teams to deliver programs as planned.
• Coach and motivate team members for accountability.
• Create progress reports and project updates using scoreboards and reviews.
• Identify risks and issues and resolve them proactively.
• Identify dependencies and critical paths.
• Collaborate with other program managers and leadership to achieve objectives.
• Apply best practices to improve execution
