Ennis Nursing Home is hiring a full-time Chef Manager to lead the catering service within the home, ensuring meals are prepared to senior residents' dietary needs while complying with current legislation and company policy. You will manage daily routines, assign tasks, plan menus, cost them within resources, and ensure hygiene and safety standards, including HACCP and COSHH.

The role requires professional culinary qualifications, Level 2 HACCP training, leadership skills, and fluent English;

Competenze

• Professional qualification (Culinary Arts/HACCP/QQI).
• Level 2 HACCP Training.
• Experience in a similar environment with HIQA standards and elderly dietary needs.
• Ability to motivate self and others; work on own initiative.
• Lead a team with strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Supervisory experience.
• Passionate about delivering great food.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Mansioni

• Manage all aspects of the daily routine within the catering team.
• Plan and cost menus to meet residents' dietary requirements within allocated financial resources.
• Ensure food is prepared and cooked in accordance with current food hygiene regulations and guidelines.
• Adhere to HACCP, First Aid, Hygiene, Health & Safety rules and COSHH Regulations at all times.
• Identify any issue within the team or operation and discuss solutions with line manager.
