Job summary

Tiramisú Da’Costa Family in Waterford is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen brigade. You will prepare and cook high-quality dishes, assist with menu ideas, and work under the Head Chef to ensure smooth service in a busy kitchen.

The role requires experience in a professional kitchen, knowledge of food safety and hygiene, and strong organisational and communication skills. The position is based at Johnstown Business Park and offers a 39-hour work week with a €36,605 gross annual salary.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season and cook high-quality dishes within your assigned section of the kitchen.
• Assist in menu planning and contribute ideas for seasonal and innovative dishes.
• Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
• Monitor and maintain hygiene, food safety and health and safety standards at all times.
• Liaise with suppliers to check the quality of ingredients and ensure correct stock rotation.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to coordinate kitchen operations and ensure timely service.
