We are seeking a reliable and organised Catering Assistant to join our catering team in Letterkenny, Ireland. This is a permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a professional hospitality environment. The successful candidate will provide essential support to our catering operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation, service, and hygiene are maintained at all times whilst contributing positively to our collaborative team. - Assist with the serving of food and beverages to guests, ensuring a professional, courteous, and customer-focused service at all times with a willingness to learn and a positive attitude
Required: - Demonstrable knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices, or willingness to obtain Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 - Strong organisational and time-keeping skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining high standards
Desirable: - Knowledge of dietary requirements and allergen awareness - Previous experience in a catering, hospitality, or food service environment - Willingness to undertake induction training and develop your skill base within the role - Experience working in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
