Job summary

Brink’s Inc in Ireland is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee resources and processes, ensuring contracts with customers are met and profitability, security, and performance are improved. You will supervise the department and collaborate with the Branch Manager to optimize resources.

You will lead recruitment, training, and development, monitor budgets, set objectives, promote health and safety, and maintain effective working environment, with a focus on SOPs and strong customer care.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a team and budgets.
• Clear, fluent communication with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and IT capabilities.
• Experience in a union environment.
• Proven experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the departmental budgets in conjunction with the Branch Manager, including headcount.
• Work with Branch Manager to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the department and manage change where necessary, optimizing resources to meet operational needs.
• Focus on continuous improvement and productivity
• Liaising with customers to ensure the company’s customer care policy is maintained.
• Set & monitor team and individual objectives.
• Contribute to the recruitment, training and development of employees, ensuring needs are recognized and met.
• Manage and enhance performance of team members, ensuring a clear focus on SOPs and Security procedures.
• Contribute to the implementation of the Company’s Health & Safety policy.
• Promote and maintain an effective and harmonious working environment.
• Authorize department’s timesheets and leave applications
• Provide accurate & timely management information regarding the department’s performance, ensuring the systems are updated and maintained.
• Communicate with employees to give and receive information by Branch meetings and/or staff briefings.
