Job summary

Dovida Ireland is seeking a hands-on HR Administrator/Generalist to lead and support caregiver recruitment, probation management, absence management, employee relations, compliance, caregiver training and retention initiatives, and to ensure all employee records are accurate and compliant.

You will work closely with National office HR and GM/Operations to implement HR projects locally, provide guidance on ER issues, monitor sickness, manage onboarding and offboarding, and drive engagement events

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience as HR Administrator / Generalist / Specialist / Coordinator.
• Understanding of HomeCare/ Healthcare sector business in Ireland (Preferred).
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to be innovative and implement new initiatives.
• Strong organisational and administration skills.
• Respects confidentiality where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Lead caregiver recruitment and interviews in collaboration with shared services team.
• Onboard new hires and assign initial shifts.
• Support National Hiring Week events.
• Handle employee queries and employee relations issues (phone and email).
• Manage offboarding: return of equipment, exit interviews.
• Monitor sickness and unplanned absences.
• Advise on staff benefits, morale and retention initiatives.
