Job summary

PATHWAY TRAINING AND RECRUITMENT LIMITED is recruiting Care Support Workers and Care Workers for full-time, permanent roles in residential services across Co. Laois. Roles involve supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and promoting independence with person-centred care.

Flexible shifts include day, night and 24-hour patterns; weekend/public holiday work may be required. A Level 5 qualification in social care is preferred, with good English and a team orientation.

Pathway Recruitment is currently recruiting Care Support Workers and Care Workers for full-time, permanent positions within residential services across Co. Laois.

The roles involve supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and additional support, promoting independence and providing high-quality, person-centred care.

Working Hours

• Candidates must be flexible to work residential shift patterns, including:
• Day Shift: 8:00am – 8:00pm
• Night Shift: 8:00pm – 8:00am
• 24-Hour Shift: 8:00am – 8:00am, including sleepover from 12:00am – 8:00am
• Weekend and Public Holiday work may be required

Requirements

• A relevant qualification in Social Care, Healthcare, Nursing Care, Disability Support or a related field
• Good spoken and written English
• A caring and person-centred approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexibility to work residential shifts
• Previous experience in healthcare, social care or disability services is an advantage
• Full driving licence is desirable
