Job summary

PATHWAY TRAINING AND RECRUITMENT LIMITED is recruiting Care Support Workers and Care Workers for full-time, permanent roles in residential services across Co. Laois. Roles involve supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and promoting independence with person-centred care.

Flexible shifts include day, night and 24-hour patterns; weekend/public holiday work may be required. A Level 5 qualification in social care is preferred, with good English and a team orientation.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: Level 5 in Social Care, Healthcare, Nursing Care, Disability Support or related field.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Caring and person-centred approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support service users with their day-to-day needs.
• Promote independence, choice and inclusion.
• Assist with personal care where required.
• Support social, recreational and community activities.
• Follow individual care and support plans.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Work as part of a team to provide a safe and supportive environment.
