Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Card Scheme Compliance Officer to serve as the reference point for Elavon business lines regarding card scheme regulations and to liaison with the card schemes on behalf of Elavon.

The role involves managing and distributing Card Scheme publications, maintaining documentation and records, preparing reports, researching rules, and coordinating procedures in relation to card scheme requirements.

• Good understanding of the payments business and the role schemes play, with risks and opportunities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Card Brand Bulletins and maintain oversight of Elavon’s compliance with impacting mandates.
• Maintain oversight of the Card Schemes requirements for mandated reporting.
• Work with various stakeholders to draft content for customer/partner facing communication channels.
• Administrative role for access to Card Scheme tools.
• Query/Issue management related to card scheme compliance.
• Content creation related to Card Scheme rules for external and internal communication channels.
• Keep up to date with Card Schemes rules and share knowledge and best practices.
