DSV - Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Business Development Manager for Air and Sea in Dublin/Blanchardstown. The role focuses on winning new business, growing long-term partnerships, and strengthening the freight network.

You will build a strong sales pipeline, engage with key importers/exporters, and coordinate with Tender Management and Product teams to deliver competitive proposals. English communication and a results-driven mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of winning and closing new business within freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of Air and/or Sea freight solutions.
• Ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers at different levels.
• Commercial awareness with strong negotiation skills.
• Experience with tenders and proposals.
• Experience with CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and secure new Air & Sea freight business, focusing on long-term strategic customers.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline, delivering against sales targets.
• Establish and grow relationships with key importers and exporters across the region.
• Work closely with Tender Management and Product teams to create competitive, customer-focused proposals.
• Meet customers regularly, understand their needs, and provide market and competitor insights.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM (Microsoft Dynamics), including leads, meetings, and opportunities.

Business Development Manager -Air and Sea

Location: Dublin -Blanchardstown

Working hours: Business core hours, 37.5 per week -flexibility required

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time

Are you a results-driven sales professional with experience in freight forwarding? This role exists to drive growth, build strong customer relationships, and keep global supply chains moving. As a Business Development Manager – Air & Sea, you will focus on winning new business and developing long-term partnerships across air and ocean freight. Your work directly supports customers, strengthens our network, and helps ensure reliability in a fast-moving world.

What will you be doing?

• Develop and secure new Air & Sea freight business, focusing on long-term strategic customers
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline, delivering against agreed sales targets
• Establish and grow relationships with key importers and exporters across the region
• Work closely with Tender Management and Product teams to create competitive, customer-focused proposals
