Job summary

SearchWorks is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a major HR transformation program in Ireland. The role focuses on documenting requirements and leading the software lifecycle, with emphasis on HR systems including Time and Attendance and payroll integration/outsourcing.

You will gather requirements, map processes, and create functional documentation while collaborating with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Experience documenting requirements and leading the software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of HR systems, especially Time and Attendance and payroll integration/outsourcing.
• Experience gathering requirements, process mapping, and creating functional documentation.
• Ability to work closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams.
• Experience supporting testing, cutover activities, go-live, and change requests.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Document requirements and lead the software development lifecycle through build and test phases.
• Gather and map business processes; produce clear functional specifications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams to ensure alignment.
• Support testing, cutover activities, go-live, and handle change requests.

Long-Term Contract (Initially start with 6 month with strong potential extension)

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support a major HR transformation program.

Key requirements:

• A person than can document requirements and can lead though the software cycle (requirements, build test etc)
• A business analyst that has knowledge of HR systems. Mainly Time and Attendance and payroll integration/outsourcing.
• Experience gathering requirements, process mapping, and functional documentation
• Ability to work closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams
• Experience supporting testing, cutover activities, go-live, and change requests
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with HRIS, payroll, or workforce management systems
• Exposure to global HR or transformation programs
• Change management and data migration experience
