Job summary

Air Products is seeking an experienced Electrician/Mechanical Technician for our Bulk Gas team at the Leixlip site in Co. Kildare.

You will provide electrical and mechanical maintenance, field support, and safety compliance for a range of bulk gas equipment and systems. The role requires a professional electrical or mechanical diploma or apprenticeship, manufacturing experience, and solid troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Electrical or mechanical diploma or apprenticeship required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting techniques.
• Electrical or mechanical engineering experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• SCADA and PLC experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Bulk Gas plant equipment preferred.
• Experience drafting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day operation and maintenance of equipment at the Leixlip site.
• Ensure adherence to safety processes and training requirements.
• Investigate equipment failures with root-cause analysis and implement fixes.
• Provide hands-on support for hardware, software, and analytical equipment issues.
• Raise escalation for further support when needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximise equipment uptime.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in audits.
• Interact effectively with customers and vendors at all levels.
