Job summary

Sisk Group seeks a Mechanical Lead for Bulk & Specialty Gas Systems to join its Life Science team in Kildare. You will manage vendor packages, interface with stakeholders and drive design reviews through IFC to handover.

The role requires strong mechanical engineering expertise, experience with utility systems, and leadership of vendor interfaces within semiconductor/ life sciences contexts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years in process engineering or vendor package management.
• Experience delivering industrial utility systems.
• Strong knowledge of PFDs, P&IDs, control systems and process safety principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing bulk gas vendor packages from concept through commissioning and handover.
• Act as primary technical interface between equipment vendors and project stakeholders.
• Review vendor deliverables: PFDs, P&IDs, layouts, data sheets, control philosophies and FAT/SAT inputs.
• Monitor progress against design, procurement, manufacturing, and commissioning schedules.
• Lead design reviews at 30%, 60%, 90% and IFC stages; close technical queries timely.
