FST Technical Services is seeking an experienced Process Engineer – Bulk Gas to join our Leixlip team, supporting large-scale semiconductor projects. You will act as a technical focal point between clients, vendors, design teams and operations, driving from design through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.

The role requires a degree in engineering and 5+ years in process or utility systems, with strong knowledge of bulk gas, VPSA, ASU or related systems, and a proven ability

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical/Process/Mechanical/Energy Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in process engineering or industrial utilities/vendor package management.
• Experience delivering complex industrial process or utility systems.
• Strong understanding of PFDs, P&IDs, process control and process safety.
• Experience working with vendors, contractors and multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage bulk gas and specialty gas vendor packages from design through commissioning and handover.
• Act as the technical interface between equipment vendors and project stakeholders.
• Review vendor deliverables (PFDs, P&IDs, data sheets, layouts, control philosophies).
• Lead technical design reviews and resolve technical queries and actions.
• Review vendor process designs for compliance with specs and standards.
• Coordinate interfaces between gas systems and other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, controls, civil).
• Support procurement, tender reviews, vendor evaluations and FAT.
• Provide engineering support during construction, installation and system integration.
• Assist commissioning, start-up, performance testing, SAT and handover.
• Participate in HAZID, HAZOP and process safety reviews.
• Ensure work complies with health & safety, quality and environmental requirements.
