Hodson Bay Hotel in Athlone is seeking a Breakfast Supervisor to support the Restaurant team and ensure outstanding guest service during morning service.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years in a supervisory role in a hotel, with strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years experience in a 4* hotel as a Team Leader/F&B Supervisor.
• Experience supervising restaurant operations and guest service.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Manager to effectively manage day-to-day restaurant service and guest experience.
• Carry out supervisory duties as per standards and guidelines.
• Take control of the hotel restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
• Assist and carry out training as required.
• Handle day-to-day queries, complaints and issues in the restaurant.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Breakfast Supervisor to join our great Food and Beverage team here at Hodson Bay Hotel.

The ideal candidate should be energetic, customer focused and should possess excellent communication skills. They should have the ability to work well under pressure.

As part of the Restaurant team you will be responsible for assisting the Manager to effectively manage the day-to-day operations of Restaurant Service whilst ensuring our guests have a positive experience. We work together as a team to ensure that we exceed guest expectations every time. We do this by ensuring the highest standards of products are on offer and by achieving excellent service standards at all times. Exceeding guest expectations is part of our service culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager to effectively manager the day to day operations, to ensure the smooth running of service, and our guests have a positive experience.
• To carry out all supervisory duties as per the agreed standards.
• To take control and responsibility for the hotel's restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
• To assist and carry out training as required.
• To be responsible for the day to day queries, complaints and issues that arise in the restaurant.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• At least 1/2 years experience in a 4* Hotel working as a Team Leader/Food and Beverage Supervisor
• Excellent Customer Service & Communication Skills
• Be an excellent Team Leader & motivate the team
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with a flexible approach to work
