Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant Breakfast to join our team. You will work alongside the Food & Beverage Manager to deliver friendly, efficient service to our hotel guests and uphold our high standards of hospitality.

Training through the Dalata Academy will support you as you learn about food and wine, upsell opportunities, and daily operations in a busy hotel environment. This role is based on-site in Ireland and offers growth opportunities within the group.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience is essential.
• Fluent English and clear communication required.
• Availability to work mornings, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet regular guests by name and provide friendly service.
• Maintain good knowledge of food and wine; offer recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue where possible.
• General cleaning of the bar and restaurant.
• Serve guests with food and beverage.

Food & Beverage Assistant Breakfast

You will receive training through our Dalata Academy to help you learn important skills. You will also meet experienced team members who can help you grow.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, the Food and Beverage Assistant will provide friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.

Your Job

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Served guests with food and beverage.

What You’ll Need

• Previous experienceis essential.
• Flexibility in working hours, as the role includes mornings, evenings, and weekends, with the ability to start as early as 5:00 am when required.
• Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.
