Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant for the Breakfast service to deliver friendly and efficient guest experiences in our hotels. You will receive training through the Dalata Academy and report to the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager.

The role requires flexibility with early starts, mornings, evenings and weekends in a high-volume hotel environment, with opportunities to upsell and develop within the Dalata Academy.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours including mornings, evenings, and weekends; early starts as required.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet regular guests by name and provide friendly service.
• Maintain good knowledge of food and wine and make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell to maximise sales revenue.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Serve guests with food and beverage.

You will receive training through our Dalata Academy to help you learn important skills. You will also meet experienced team members who can help you grow.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, the Food and Beverage Assistant will provide friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.

Your Job

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Served guests with food and beverage.

What You’ll Need

• Previous experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours, as the role includes mornings, evenings, and weekends, with the ability to start as early as 5:00 am when required.
• Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.
