Bank of Ireland through CPL – Build Your Future in Banking. Welcome Advisor at The Quay, Waterford, primarily onsite with occasional travel to Lisduggan. This 12-month contract offers a chance to start or advance a banking career in a dynamic team.

You’ll be the first contact for customers, delivering friendly, professional service while guiding self-service options and performing cashier duties when needed.

Welcome Advisor – The Quay, Waterford

Location: We have 2 intakes across Waterford City & Lisduggan branches. Our main work site is in the Quay, Waterford with occasional travel to the Lisduggan branch.

Contract: 12 Months

Partner: Bank of Ireland (via CPL)

Salary: 16.48 per hour

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, Onsite

We’re looking for an ambitious and motivated individual who wants to kick-start or advance their career in banking.

As a Welcome Advisor, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring every interaction is friendly, professional, and efficient. You’ll work as part of a dynamic, supportive team while engaging with both personal and business customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service (including cashier duties where required)
• Guide customers through self-service banking options such as Banking 365
• Manage customer flow and ensure a smooth branch experience
• Update and maintain customer information on internal systems
• Handle basic queries and issues confidently and elevate when necessary
• Share customer insights to help improve service delivery
