Job summary

DP World in Dublin is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead the Freight Forwarding operation, reporting to the VP Freight Forwarding. You will drive overall branch performance, develop a high‑performing team and grow revenue while delivering air, ocean and road freight services.

• Minimum of 10 years' recent experience within Freight Forwarding Operations and Customer Service.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Dublin freight forwarding branch, ensuring high standards of customer service, operational performance and team effectiveness.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring service expectations and operational requirements are consistently achieved.
• Monitor branch performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities, and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
• Support the development of a high-performing team through coaching, mentoring, training and succession planning activities.
• Promote a collaborative, engaged and positive working environment that encourages accountability and teamwork.

Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially minded Branch Manager to lead our Dublin Freight Forwarding operation. Reporting to the VP Freight Forwarding, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, operational performance and continued development of the branch, ensuring the effective delivery of air, ocean and road freight forwarding services while driving sustainable business growth.

We are looking for a strong, hand-on leader with a solid freight forwarding operational background and a proven ability to grow revenue, profitability and customer share. The successful candidate will combine operational excellence with commercial awareness, taking ownership of branch performance, identifying growth opportunities, building strong customer relationships and developing a high-performing team. This role requires someone who can balance strategic thinking with a hand-on approach, working collaboratively across Operations, Sales and the wider DP World network to achieve both short and long-term business objectives.

Qualifications

About You
