Job summary

Ward Personnel is recruiting a BIM Lead / Digital Project Delivery Lead in Dublin for a hybrid role (with travel to project sites). You will lead a team of BIM Coordinators and Technicians, shape standards, support tender submissions and drive adoption of new technology across the portfolio.

The role reports to the Digital Delivery Manager, requires 5+ years in BIM/Digital Delivery, knowledge of ISO 19650, and a degree in engineering or related field.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a BIM, Digital Construction or Digital Project Delivery role.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 19650 and information management processes.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Track record managing digital delivery requirements on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong practical knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks, Revit and associated platforms.
• Excellent leadership, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Main contractor experience.
• Exposure to tender and pre-construction stages.
• Experience mentoring or line-managing junior BIM staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of BIM Coordinators and Technicians, ensuring project deliverables are met to programme and to standard.
• Report to the Digital Delivery Manager on project status, risks, opportunities and resourcing.
• Review, develop and roll out digital delivery procedures, standards and best practice across the business.
• Support pre-construction by reviewing tender documentation, identifying digital delivery requirements, and preparing tender responses.
• Work alongside project teams to embed agreed digital delivery strategies on site.
• Monitor digital delivery activity across live projects, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements and industry best practice.
• Champion new technologies, workflows and innovation initiatives.
• Mentor coordinators and project teams on digital delivery and information management.
• Take direct ownership of digital delivery on designated projects where required.

A leading Irish main contractor with a long-established reputation for delivering large-scale, high-profile projects across the commercial, residential, healthcare and education sectors. The business has invested heavily in its digital delivery function and is now building out the team that sits behind it.

The Opportunity

This is a senior appointment within an established digital delivery team, reporting to the Digital Delivery Manager and taking leadership responsibility for a group of BIM Coordinators and Technicians.

It is a genuine step up from a project-based BIM role. Alongside overseeing delivery on live projects, you will shape the standards and procedures the wider business works to, support the pre-construction team on tender submissions, and drive the adoption of new technology and workflows across the portfolio.
