Job summary

GagaMuller Group is seeking a BIM Manager to lead BIM strategy, standards, and delivery across major mission-critical projects in London and Dublin. You will coordinate with management, design teams, contractors, and clients to ensure robust BIM workflows and information management throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • NFQ Level 7 minimum educational qualification in an AEC-related discipline.
  • Strong verbal, written, and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in BIM tools and workflows, including Autodesk Suite (BIM 360, Revit, Navisworks, etc.).
  • Knowledge of BIM standards, protocols, and information management processes.
  • Familiarity with document approval workflows and automated dashboarding/reporting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain BIM execution strategies, project plans, standards, and workflows.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and BIM deliverables across all project phases.
  • Support project teams during planning, design, preconstruction, construction, commissioning, and handover stages.
  • Ensure BIM deliverables are aligned with project objectives, programme requirements, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Monitor BIM implementation progress and ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders to promote BIM collaboration and coordination.
  • Facilitate BIM coordination meetings, workshops, and project reviews.
  • Support integration of project information, models, and digital workflows across all disciplines.
  • Maintain BIM documentation, dashboards, and reporting trackers.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to monitor BIM performance and project metrics.
  • Support handover documentation and digital asset information requirements at project completion.
  • Promote proactive, collaborative working across the project team.

The Opportunity

GagaMuller is supporting the delivery of major mission-critical and infrastructure developments across London and Dublin. The BIM Manager will play a central role in ensuring project teams utilise BIM and digital construction technologies effectively to support coordination, planning, programme delivery, and project controls.

Working closely with project management, design teams, contractors, scheduling, commercial, and construction teams, you will ensure BIM standards, workflows, and information management requirements are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

This role offers the opportunity to work within a fast-paced international project environment, delivering some of Europe’s most advanced digital infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

1. Scope & Delivery Management

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive BIM execution strategies, project plans, standards, and workflows.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and BIM deliverables across all project phases.
  • Support project teams during planning, design, preconstruction, construction, commissioning, and handover stages.
  • Ensure BIM deliverables are aligned with project objectives, programme requirements, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Monitor BIM implementation progress and ensure timely completion of project deliverables.

2. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Ensure close collaboration between BIM, estimating, scheduling, construction, engineering, and quantity surveying teams.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders to promote effective BIM collaboration and coordination.
  • Facilitate BIM coordination meetings, workshops, and project reviews.
  • Support integration of project information, models, and digital workflows across all disciplines.
  • Ensure consistent communication and alignment across multidisciplinary project teams.

3. Risk & Compliance Management

  • Proactively manage change processes relating to BIM scope, design coordination, and project delivery impacts.
  • Identify potential project and design coordination risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), Information Management Plans (IMP), and project BIM standards.
  • Monitor stakeholder compliance with Common Data Environment (CDE) and document management procedures.
  • Support automated visual risk assessment processes for design delays and schedule impacts.

4. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain BIM documentation, coordination records, model reviews, and reporting trackers.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to monitor BIM performance, coordination status, and project metrics.
  • Support the preparation of progress reports, model audits, and stakeholder reporting documentation.
  • Ensure accurate management of digital project records and information exchanges.
  • Support handover documentation and digital asset information requirements at project completion.
  • Utilise BIM and digital construction tools to streamline project collaboration and data management processes.
  • Support integration of BIM workflows with project controls, scheduling, cost management, and construction delivery activities.
  • Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to improve project coordination and delivery outcomes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives relating to BIM standards, automation, and digital construction processes.
  • Promote a proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused working environment across the project team.

What Experience We Are Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience within the AEC industry.
  • Experience managing BIM coordination and digital construction workflows on complex construction projects.
  • Experience working on Data Centre, Industrial, Infrastructure, Pharma, or Mission Critical projects is advantageous.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary project delivery teams in fast-paced construction environments.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse situations, work under pressure, and meet project deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound judgement and decision-making.
