The BIM Co-Ordinator will work closely with commercial teams, Contracts Managers, clients, design teams and Project Directors, reporting directly to the BIM Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the development of accurate and detailed BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), ensuring project-specific quality standards are clearly established and maintained.
  • Produce detailed and precise 3D BIM models in accordance with individual project requirements.
  • Ensure project models align with the standards, objectives and workflows established within the BIM Execution Plan.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, external consultants and other project disciplines.
  • Create BIM modelling content and assist with the development of additional Revit families and templates.
  • Develop construction drawings and extract relevant project data from BIM models.

  • Ensure the CDE is appropriately configured and capable of meeting relevant ISO standards.
  • Implement and enforce BIM Execution Plans, Standard Methods and Procedures (SMPs) within the CDE.
  • Carry out conformity and quality checks on Revit models.
  • Manage the identification and coordination of clashes within federated models using Navisworks.
  • Monitor and support the implementation of BIM Execution Plans throughout projects.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and design teams to establish and agree project BIM objectives.
  • Work closely with the wider BIM team to support the continuous development of BIM knowledge and capability across the organisation.
Candidate Requirements
  • A Level 7 or Level 8 Degree in Building Information Modelling, or a related Engineering or Architecture undergraduate degree.
  • At least 2 years' experience working within a relevant BIM-related environment.
  • Strong experience using Revit and Navisworks.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • An understanding of BIM procedures, protocols and data management software.
  • A good understanding of construction methodologies and the sequencing of works on site.
  • A genuine interest in digitalising traditional construction practices and using innovative technology to improve project delivery.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
  • Good judgement when working under pressure, combined with a patient, flexible and collaborative approach.
