Job summary

Dawn Meats Group is recruiting a Beef Boning Hall Line Lead at our Kildare production plant. You will provide leadership and direction to General Operatives within the team, overseeing daily boning hall operations and ensuring product quality, hygiene and safety standards.

Based in Kildare Town, you will work closely with Management to drive efficiency, meet customer specifications and develop staff through coaching and training, while maintaining cost and productivity targets.

Qualifications

• Your role will see you tackle a wide range of challenges in a busy production environment.
• The ideal Candidate will have or demonstrate leadership capabilities and the ability to guide a team.
• Applicants must have knife experience and good knowledge of primal cuts.
• You must be confident leading and guiding a team, with good communication to production and Supervisors/Managers.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the daily operation of the Beef Boning Hall
• Assisting with running of production lines including boning line
• Support the managing of an efficient, effective boning hall operation ensuring that targets are meet and quality is maintained
• Ensure the output of products are per customer specification
• Delegate tasks and set deadlines
• Monitor team performance and report to Boning Hall Manager/Supervisors
• Motivate team members
• Discover training needs and provide coaching to employees
• Assessing team performance and providing feedback to employees
• Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts
• Assisting with training of employees
• Report any near miss, accident or breach of company or statutory H&S policies
• Ensure the correct usage of PPE and input corrective action
• On the floor supervision of processes
