Job summary

Dawn Meats Group is recruiting a Boning Hall Line Lead at our Kildare Town, Co. Kildare production plant. The role focuses on leading daily operations of the Beef Boning Hall, guiding production lines and ensuring outputs meet customer specifications.

The successful candidate will have knife experience and strong leadership, capable of delivering coaching, training and performance feedback to enhance safety, quality and efficiency across the team.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have knife experience and good knowledge of primal cuts.
• You must be confident leading & guiding a team.
• You must have good attention to detail and be able to work to tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills are essential, as you must be able to communicate findings both from and to production and Supervisors / Managers

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the daily operation of the Beef Boning Hall
• Assisting with running of production lines including boning line
• Support the managing of an efficient, effective boning hall operation ensuring that targets are meet and quality is maintained
• Ensure the output of products are per customer specification
• Delegate tasks and set deadlines
• Monitor team performance and report to Boning Hall Manager/Supervisors
• Motivate team members
• Discover training needs and provide coaching to employees
• Assessing team performance and providing feedback to employees
• Listen to team members' feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts
• Assisting with training of employees
• Report any near miss, accident or breach of company or statutory H&S policies
• Ensure the correct usage of PPE and input corrective action
• On the floor supervision of processes
