Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a hospitality professional to join our team in Ireland. You will greet guests by name, have a solid knowledge of food, beverages and wine, and provide friendly, professional service at all times.

Upselling and maximizing revenue will be important, and you will contribute to a welcoming guest experience across our properties.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel environment preferred, but not essential.
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment.
• Strong customer service and upselling skills.
• Fluent English with excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist regular guests by name.
• Maintain a good knowledge of food, beverages and wine; make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue wherever possible.

Your Job

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food, all beverages and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.

What You’ll Need

• Previous hotel experience in a 3/4-star hotel property is desired but not essential.
• Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in a busy food and beverage operation
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros Experience would be preferable.
