Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to provide friendly, efficient service to hotel guests. You will be trained via the Dalata Academy and have opportunities for internal growth as part of a friendly team, reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager.

Responsibilities include greeting guests by name, knowledge of food and wine, upselling, and maintaining bar/restaurant cleanliness while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours including mornings/evenings & weekends.
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Served guests with food and beverage.

You will receive training through our Dalata Academy to help you learn important skills. You will also meet experienced team members who can help you grow.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, the Food and Beverage Assistant will provide friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.
