Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our Galway team. You will provide friendly and efficient service to guests, supported by training through the Dalata Academy to help you learn important skills.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, you will greet guests by name, upsell where appropriate, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to a welcoming bar and restaurant experience for all guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours including mornings/evenings & weekends.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.

Food & Beverage Assistant

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, the Food and Beverage Assistant will provide friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.

Your Job:

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Served guests with food and beverage.

What You’ll Need:

• Midweek Availability
• Previous experienceis essential.
• Flexibility in working hours as the role includes mornings/evenings & weekends
• Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.
