Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is looking for a Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced hotel setting. You will provide friendly service to guests, upsell where possible and ensure smooth bar and restaurant operations.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager, you will leverage your knowledge of food and wine and maintain high standards of guest satisfaction. Previous hotel experience is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours (mornings/evenings & weekends).
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet regular guests by name and provide friendly, efficient service.
• Have good knowledge of food and wine; make recommendations.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue where possible.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar and restaurant and serve guests with food and beverage.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, the Food and Beverage Assistant will provide friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.

Your Job

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Served guests with food and beverage.

What You’ll Need

• Previous experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours as the role includes mornings/evenings & weekends
• Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.
