Job summary

Peaken Properties Ltd is seeking an experienced Bartender to join Brubakers, our busy bar and restaurant in Dundalk. This is a part-time role requiring evenings and weekend work, with a starting pay of €15 per hour depending on experience.

You will prepare and serve cocktails, beers, wines and soft drinks, deliver friendly service, assist with table service, take orders, process payments and keep the bar clean and well stocked.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
• Confident and capable during busy service.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team!

We are a busy bar and restaurant with a lively late-night atmosphere, and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in great service, enjoys working as part of a team and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks to a high standard
• Deliver friendly, professional and efficient customer service
• Work closely with the restaurant team during food service, taking drink orders and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests
• Assist with table service and support the floor team when required
• Take orders and process payments accurately
• Keep the bar clean, organised and fully stocked throughout service
• Maintain excellent standards of presentation, cleanliness and hygiene
• Work efficiently throughout busy evening and late-night services
• Help create a warm, welcoming and professional atmosphere for our guests
• Follow responsible service, health & safety and company procedures
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth service across the venue

What We’re Looking For

• Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred
• Experience in a busy bar and restaurant environment is an advantage
• Confident and capable during busy food and evening service
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Friendly, professional and approachable manner
• Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Strong team player with a positive attitude
