Peaken Properties Ltd is seeking a friendly Front of House Host for Brubakers in Dundalk. This part-time role involves welcoming guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating to ensure a smooth service in a busy bar and restaurant.

The ideal candidate will have Front of House or hospitality experience, be organised, and comfortable working in a lively late-night atmosphere. Pay starts at €15.00 per hour, with in-person work.

Qualifications

• Experience in front of house, reception, restaurant or hospitality is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise during busy service.
• Calm and professional when dealing with busy periods or customer concerns.

Responsibilities

Front of House Host – Bar & Restaurant

We’re looking for a confident, welcoming and organised Front of House team member to join us!

As the first point of contact for our customers, you’ll play an important role in creating a warm and professional first impression while helping to ensure the smooth running of service.

Working within a busy bar and restaurant with a lively late-night atmosphere, this is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, is highly organised and can remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

• Warmly welcome and greet customers upon arrival
• Manage the reception area and ensure guests receive a friendly and professional welcome
• Manage table bookings, reservations and enquiries
• Organise and coordinate table seating efficiently
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus where required
• Monitor bookings and table availability throughout service
• Liaise closely with managers, wait staff and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Communicate customer requirements, special requests and important booking information to the relevant teams
• Manage customers queries and assist with resolving any issues professionally
• Keep the team informed of booking changes, arrivals and seating requirements
• Assist with coordinating the flow of service during busy periods
• Maintain a high standard of presentation and professionalism at all times
• Assist with general Front of House duties as required

What We’re Looking For

• Previous Front of House, reception, restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred
